Screw seals
Threaded seals are specialized sealing elements used to seal threaded connections.
They prevent the leakage of liquids or gases at thread joints, particularly in hydraulic, pneumatic, or general piping systems.
Typical versions include flat gaskets, sealing rings with metallic carriers (e.g., copper or aluminum), or combined sealing systems such as cutting ring fittings with integrated seals. A common variant is the sealing washer with a rubber lip, where an elastomer is vulcanized onto a metal washer.
Threaded seals ensure secure and long-lasting sealing even under fluctuating temperatures and pressures, and they are easy to install.
They are used across a wide range of industries – from mechanical engineering and automotive to building services.
